Reby Advisors To Host Two-Evening Educational Retirement Planning Course This Fall
Submitted by Reby Advisors | Certified Financial Planners | Danbury, CT on August 27th, 2017Soaring healthcare costs, rising prices and taxes, and low interest rates make it difficult to generate the income a family needs to sustain a good lifestyle through retirement. Add in the risk of a potential economic slowdown, domestic political implosion, or geopolitical blowup, and even investors who’ve done a great job of saving and investing may feel understandably worried about their financial security after they stop working.
To help navigate these challenges, Reby Advisors is hosting a two-evening retirement income planning course this fall. Introducing The Retirement Income Blueprint!
Held on consecutive Thursday evenings, September 28th and October 5th, the course will cover how to generate predictable streams of lifelong income and protect your assets from critical risks. Attendees will learn from a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with decades of professional experience, and have the opportunity to ask questions in each session.
If you’ve recently retired, or plan to retire within the next 10-years, then this course is for you!

September 28: Retirement Income Planning
Thursday, September 28 from 6:30 to 8:30PM at RVNA in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
We begin our course by looking at the foundation for a successful retirement. Topics covered include the 15 risks critical risks to your lifestyle, the state and future of today’s bull market, preparation for the next economic downturn, and a discussion of the high-level points that should be part of any sound retirement plan.
Next, we look at your income capability, or the “art of replacing your paycheck.” Your course instructor explains how much money you’ll need to retire, how much you can safely spend each year, how to grow your portfolio while taking withdrawals, and strategies to maximize Social Security benefits.
Retirement income is the foundation of any retirement plan. Even if you can only attend one of the two evenings, this topic alone is worth enrollment.
October 5: How to Avoid Outliving Your Assets
Thursday, October 5 from 6:30 to 8:30PM at RVNA in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
Some studies have found that the fear of running out of money is more prevalent among retirees than the fear of death. We all remember how the market crash of 2000 and the financial crisis of 2008-2010 devastated many retirement portfolios, and truth be told, recessions like these are part of the natural business cycle.
Will your retirement assets survive 2 to 3 recessions over the next few decades? Will a sudden medical emergency drain your savings? This presentation will help you prepare for these challenges.
Lastly, we wrap up the course by introducing key strategies to minimize your income taxes. Tax minimization is an often-overlooked area of retirement income planning that may add up to six figures to your lifetime income. Remember, it’s not what you earn that matters; it’s what you keep that counts!
The second night of our course will also feature April Rodriguez, RN, Community Health Nurse Manager at RVNA, as she shares advice for remaining both physically and financially healthy through retirement.
Wealth Redefined
All course participants will get a free copy of Wealth Redefined: Charting the Way to Personal and Financial Freedom. Available at Amazon for $17.95, Wealth Redefined will serve as your text book for the topics covered.
